Plans for 2011

Our 2011 painting season will kick off in March. As we did last year, members will sign up to make a month’s worth of schedules.

At an informal potluck and gathering today to share last year’s work, we came up with a few ideas and suggestions for 2011;

• Keep locations within a 45 minute drive from Roseburg
• Paint at Stanton Park in Canyonville before the end of June so the colors are nicer
• Paint at Mildred Kanipe twice during the year
• Possibly plan a trip to the coast
• Maybe plan on starting at 10 am in the spring when it can be cold and foggy
• Paint at the historical house in Yoncalla
• Do a late afternoon paint out combined with a potluck

Also, be sure to mark July 14 and 15 on the calendar for UVAA’s Plein Air Event.
