Prev NextMeeting on Monday, March 1
Since Monday is the day to pick up artwork, let’s have a quick meeting at UVAA at 9 am. We can discuss the schedule for March.
Then, weather permitting, we’ll go out and paint someplace close by, maybe the Duck Pond.
Reminder to Pick Up Paintings
If you had artwork in the recent show at UVAA, make sure to pick it up on Monday, March 1. Thanks to everyone who participated in the show!
2010 Schedule in the Works!
Spring is in the air! Let’s hope the weather cooperates so that we can get out and paint. The schedule for March will be up soon.
For 2010, we’re asking members to volunteer to schedule one month of paint outs. Here’s how this will work…
Sign up for a month that’s open. Plan locations for each Monday in that month. Email the locations to mail@papu.us a month in advance. If the location is a business or private property, make arrangements and get pre-approval ahead of time and then make a reminder call the week before.
There is a list of suggestions here, but you are welcome to come up with original locations. You may know of a special spot or have friends that have a great place that we could visit.
The locations should have
- Room for parking (at or nearby)
- Restrooms (at or nearby)
Month
- March – Vinita
- April – Jane
- May – Nancy
- June – Annabel
- July – open
- August – Jani
- September – open
- October – Kyall
Possible Painting Locations
Here is a list of possible painting locations. If you have more suggestions, please post a comment. Thanks!
